Overview
Overall, children's health insurance was protected.
The State Legislature also rejected and modified some of Davis' proposed cuts to Medi-Cal. They cut the reimbursement rates for doctors who treat Medi-Cal patients by 5%, rather than the 15% proposed by Davis. They also eliminated and reduced many of the cuts for Medi-Cal services.
